L.A. Maritime Services, Inc. was founded in 2003 by Dieter Liebich, a German Master Mariner and Mechanical Engineer. With over 30 years of experience in the worldwide maritime business, he gained his expertise at sea and during his assignments as Service Engineer with New Sulzer Diesel in Switzerland, Service Director of Wartsila NSD Korea and General Manager of Goltens California. Together with Robert Schuchardt, a highly experienced and very knowledgeable German Marine Engineer, our factory trained mechanics and technicians and our dedicated office staff, they offer high quality standards guaranteeing a very professional and reliable service.
L.A. Maritime Services Inc. main office and workshop is situated at the Port of Los Angeles/Long Beach. Outgrowing our past location we have moved in January 2009 into our new state of the art 6500 square foot workshop. For lifeboat and davit inspections and repairs technicians are stationed in Los Angeles/Long Beach, New York, Miami, Houston and Vancouver/Canada..
